DR. LAURA ROBINSON
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Laura Robinson was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014 and then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University in 2019. She received the "Dean's Award" her senior year, which is the highest achievement given to one person in the graduating class. Her areas of interest include Nutrition, Dermatology, and Surgery.
One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is the problem-solving aspect of it, putting together the clinical signs with the diagnostic tests to figure out what is going on with her patients. She loves to see the improvement her patients make once treatments are finished and loves to build relationships with her clients and interact with them and their beloved pets. One of her favorite quotes is by Anatole France, which says “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Dr. Robinson is a huge rescue advocate and has fostered and found homes for more than a dozen dogs.
Dr. Laura Robinson lives in Oceanside with her grey tabby cat Artemis, and her shepherd mix Maple. On her off days, Dr. Robinson enjoys going to the beach and getting outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. She has been to over 16 countries ranging from Thailand, Australia, and South Africa. She also enjoys watching and playing sports and has even competed in local kickball and volleyball leagues, as well as flag football, softball, volleyball and riding equestrian.
Dr. Robinson is a member of AVMA, SCVMA, CVMA, and is an USDA accredited veterinarian.
